Personal Post PleaseHelpDay!!

Oh, hey. So… normally this is the part of the week where Dannielle and I tell you funny stories and whatnot - but this week I’d like to do something a little different. This is Kristin, by the way.

This week I’d like to ask for your help. Above are three pictures of me and my cousin Becky - someone who has been dear to my heart since I wore bowl cuts and sailor suits. A couple of years ago, Becky was diagnosed with MS while she was pregnant with her second adorable baby. Here’s the thing about Becky, though… she is a fighter to her core. She had her daughter, Reilly, and immediately began taking daily medication to stop the progression of the MS. So far, it has not progressed and she is doing well.

So well, in fact, that this August she is riding in Bike MS. Bike MS raises funds to help support critically needed research and to help others with MS continue to move their lives forward. The fact that she is able to ride in the race is remarkable.

Lastly, before our first tour with Everyone Is Gay, Dannielle and I were about $200 shy of hitting our fundraising goal to rent a minivan. Becky saw our update on Facebook and gave the entire remaining $200 so that we could make our dream a reality. She is very close to reaching her goal for the race, but I want to get her well past that mark if we can, so please show her your support!! Even if you only have a couple of dollars to give, please help!!

Guys. Pay attention to the above and, please, help out. MS is so serious and pretty awful and research is so so important. Let’s do this.
